Open Areas (Structured Free Time) and Instructional Swims |
During Open Areas, campers choose to participate in their favorite activities at camp. Counselors are there to help campers develop the skills that are taught in clubs, or organize games and special activities. Whether it is water-skiing, sailing, archery, soccer, or tennis, there is always something fun to do! In one Open Area period, you can go tubing, play basketball, shoot archery, and finish up with a game of ping-pong!

Blue-Gold and Kawagian Leagues |
Campers are divided into teams based on age to ensure fair competition in a broad range of athletic experiences. The teams
remain consistent throughout the summer and are coached by counselors.
Leagues not only offer an opportunity to instruct groups and individuals how to improve in the activity, but also, they offer
an opportunity to reinforce Kawaga's guiding principles of Fellowship, Sportsmanship, Spirit, and Enthusiasm, as well as Leadership and Cooperation.
